What we do?
\n<\/strong>We are implementing a comprehensive project to restore the swimming pool for patients in the military ward at the Kyiv Psychiatric Hospital (Pavlivka).
\nThe pool is part of a rehabilitation program for military personnel and veterans with psychological and psychiatric problems.<\/p>\n

Why do we do this and what is the benefit of it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– psychological rehabilitation of military personnel and veterans<\/p>\n

– physical rehabilitation through swimming and group classes<\/p>\n

– socialization and resocialization<\/p>\n

Who is the beneficiary?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– active military and veterans (100 to 200 patients per month)
\n– in the future, civilian patients of the hospital
\n– contractor – veteran construction company, which also performs a social function of supporting and reintegration of veterans<\/p>\n

Who is the contractor?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Veterans Plus is a team of construction professionals, which, before the full-scale invasion, was an association of ATO veterans and volunteers. After a long pause in work and many changes, our idea, as well as our common desire for victory, remain unchanged.
\nTherefore, we continue to form a veteran environment with comfortable working conditions “among our” people who continue the struggle, but already in a civilian profession. We are confident that combat experience is not a limitation, but rather, it turns into valuable skills that can be converted into high-quality repair and construction work.<\/p>\n

Mental health problems are something that combatants often face. It is in our hands to create a comfortable environment for their treatment and recovery. The main advantage of this project is that it does not “plug holes” in the system during wartime, but provides a sustainable tool for treatment and rehabilitation for years to come. Because high-quality and modern rehabilitation facilities are what the medical system needs most right now, and their establishment and development falls, among other things, on volunteer and charitable organizations.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Every hryvnia donated to this project is an opportunity for thousands of veterans and military personnel to receive quality treatment and rehabilitation, return to service, or integrate into civilian life.<\/span><\/p>\n
